Her Illegal Pants

Looking at jeans in the window

Singing out their praises till tomorrow

Can’t find a way to own them now

Sneak like a lock picking drow

The beauty is so real

Their magic makes them feel

They accentuate all the right spots

And their amazing even their crops

These illegal pants

Make people turn their head

These illegal pants

Turn their faces red

Was the crime scotch free

Should everyone be thanking me

The criminal ways worked today

No running from the cops this day

I vlogged about them

Wrote about them

Told all my friends

But to what ends

The beauty is so real

Their magic makes them feel

They accentuate all the right spots

And their amazing even their crops

These illegal pants

Make people turn their head

These illegal pants

Turn their faces red

But then they begin to fray

I have worn them since Tuesday

My mind starts to swirl

Steal another one girl

Having one is never real

I have a whole stock I can steal

I break in with zeal

But prison will be my last meal

The beauty is so real

Their magic makes them feel

They accentuate all the right spots

And their amazing even their crops

These illegal pants

Make people turn their head

These illegal pants

Turn their faces red

These illegal pants

Make people turn their head

These illegal pants

Turn their faces red

Cranky About Quiet

Moments of quiet,

I sometimes despise it,

Because the noisy that come,

Are often not fun,

They hit with a thud,

They boil your blood,

You want them to go away,

So you imagine their pain,

It’s always like this,

When it is so quiet,

Enjoyment,

Boredom,

Concentration,

Bliss,

Interruption,

Inability to function,

It’s never enough time,

You always had more in mind,

Or maybe your sleeping,

And the footsteps are loud not creeping,

So swell with a frown,

There is no quiet place to be found,

Hopefully it is not long,

Till you find a place with no gongs,

And meditate in it,

So you can find peace when you sit.

Watch children

You have seen the signs,

And drove past them,

But do you know the story of the Watch Children?

They appear in the night

When the moonlight is just right,

Laughing and playing,

You hear them eerily saying,

Its almost time,

We rhyme,

It’s almost time,

These wonderful children,

Bask in the moonlight twirling,

Jumping and running,

All wearing watches that are stunning,

Lined with diamonds and sapphires,

The reflection so bright it is like white fire,

Then they are gone

Leaving you with wonder about the sign all along.

Where do they go when they go away,

To a land of moonlight where they always play,

Full of watch children from other cities,

Living in moonstone houses that are so pretty,

Nobody know about the jobs they have

Or what made them glad,

Just that they join us for hour,

When the moon is full of power,

To remind us of play,

Which is their only way,

So the next time your driving at night,

And the moon is high and bright,

If you see a sign that says watch children,

You may get to see them playing in the land.

So don’t fly by

And remember to say hi,

To these moonstones gems,

The Watch Children are your friends.

I Death Defying Leaf

I

Death defying leaf

I

Fall from tree

I

Can’t seem to hit the ground

I

Get caught by the winds and glide

I

Watch skin wrinkle and dry

I

Don’t know why they didn’t notice when I was green,

Always taken me for granted or being mean,

I am now brown

They notice me now as I fall down

I glide into traffic

I

Stick to your windshield

I

Am on your tires and making it hard to drive

I

You notice me now as I die

The Lost Tea Project

The crumpet dust on the doily of despair,

The heart hearkens back to times which compare,

The weight of the world on shoulders that cannot bare,

Why can’t I identify what’s missing it’s not fair,

The teetering tea cups on the balance beam of life,

The fault wrong triangle that holds the beam tight,

The additions cups jenga’d onto pile that is shaking slight,

Straining its draining I try with my hardest mental might,

I know I can conclude this project before me,

Even if every piece of the puzzle cannot be seen,

I traverse through this project in hopes of the keys,

And in the end it will finish and I will be free.
